Ryde Dispensary
The dispensary in Ryde was started in 1842 and was ultimately housed at the junction of West Street and Swanmore Road.

The Old Theatre
This engraving dates from approximately 1840. The old Theatre was built in the very early 19th Century (approx. 1811).


The New Railway Pier
This photograph was taken in 1878 showing the railway pier being built near the Esplanade Station.


Temporary Iron Church
Opening of the Temporary Iron Church on the morning of Wednesday 17th, 1869 (St. Matthias’ Day).


Upton Windmill
The Windmill near Westmont was built 1809-10 and taken down 1838, and said to have been rebuilt at Upton.


Old Manor House
 The old manor house stood in the car park next to the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, later the “Prince Consort”.
