We will be holding a short Service of Remembrance in the South Chapel at Ryde Cemetery on Friday 12 November at 2.30pm.
We held our first Coffee Morning on Saturday 23rd October 2021, when it was so good to see members and friends after the long break during Covid lockdown.
The shipping between Ryde and the Mainland is only a small part of the Maritime History of the area.
We are beginning our Coffee Mornings again at the Resource Centre in Ryde Cemetery, the first being on Saturday 23 October 10am till 2pm. Just drop-in to see us for a drink and home-made cakes, or biscuits.

Our Carnival display was in the old “Miss Packs” building in Cross Street, Ryde, during Carnival Week.
The I.W. Grand Opera Company, during the week, 5th till 11th June 1950, had staged for the Island’s first opera week at the Commodore Theatre, Ryde, Bizet’s “Carmen” and Smetana’s “The Bartered Bride.”
