A Service of Remembrance will take place in the Ryde Cemetery Chapel on Thursday 7 November at 6.30pm.
All you need is half a pint of water in a glass, drop in a leech and tie a piece of muslin over the top.

In August, our busy research team added 30 biographical records to names on the website, including that of Vice-Admiral Sir William Augustus Montagu, who had an impressive naval career.
A young couple met at the Brighton Deaf School and were later married at St. John's Church, Ryde.
We were blessed with fine dry weather for the insect walk, led by Richard Smout. around 18 people took part. Richard explained that ‘insects’ was a vast topic and that within the various species could be hundreds of sub species.
It has been a real pleasure to have been part of “The Party on the Green” this year.
