Isle of Wight Observer:- Jun 7th 1913: SALVATION ARMY – The Salvation Army had a big day at Ryde on Tuesday, in commemoration of the King’s birthday. The 2nd Portsmouth Corps and the Gosport Corps joined with the Ryde Corps and held special meetings at the Ryde Citadel. Later about 110 sat down to tea.
